Tulsa WorldSenior Front-End Web Developer - 2010-2012

  • Daily conception and design of web pages, special projects, continuing coverage, online media systems and maintenance of Omniture systems. Headed up SEO upgrades with several departments and conversion of old site data to meet current SEO standards. Headed an interdepartmental group for web and mobile app design, development and implementation. Design lead in a complete sitewide redesign of tulsaworld.com. This included redesign and restructuring of the site to streamline live information streams, new marketplace mini-sites for local real estate, jobs and auto sections of the site, and incorporation of more print designs and concepts into web, streamlining the site to more easily connect with the printed product.

Independent Design Professional 2006-2012

  • Freelance design specializing in print and web for a variety of clients including but not limited to the medical and music industry with emphasis on branding to fit multiple media. This also includes articles published in Computer Arts, Design Juices and Colorburned.com.

Acadian Magazine Layout Editor - 2006-2008

  • Layout concept and production, creation of in-house advertisement, client consultation, troubleshooting, web production and consultation, pre-press prep and FTP server maintenance. Also responsible for creating seasonal advertisements for continuing clients reflecting local culture while bringing its relevance to the greater Louisiana area.

Vermilion Newspaper Media Director - 2006-2007

  • Responsibilities include layout concept and production, oversight of various articles and submitted features, comics, photography and web services. Editing, adapting and creating web articles and code for newspaper website, editing graphics, working with printing press to produce a weekly publication to the 20k student body of the university.
